Death notes detailing the time and method of a victim’s murder are left by a vigilante serial murderer in Hong Kong known as “Darker.” Darker may easily get through and kill the victim, even if they report it to the authorities and are given protection.
The sole witness and survivor of Darker’s enigmatic explosion of Mang Wan, the lover of police inspector Luo Fei, ten years ago was Wong Siu Ping, a homeless guy who was terribly burned and scarred in the process. Darker reemerges in the present, issuing death threats, administering severe and harsh penalties, and confronting the police with an unthinkable plot behind them.
